The  (CCWG) will host the biannual members meeting in London, providing an excellent opportunity to learn about how participating in the initiative can support objectives to reduce logistics carbon footprints and show leadership in responsible and sustainable global freight movement. The meeting will feature lively discussions with CCWG shipper, carrier, and freight forwarder members through peer-to-peer best-practice sharing sessions, expert analysis of the annual performance data, and the latest feedback and updates on regulation and stakeholder expectations that impact businesses.

The focus of the meeting is to:

• Review and assess industry-wide environmental performance trends, resulting from our signature annual data collection process.
• Make collective decisions and outline next steps for specific projects undertaken to—for example—improve methodologies, develop the Clean Cargo Strategy 2020, and advance specific strategic engagements.
• Present the latest regulatory updates and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate peer-to-peer best-practice sharing.

Day one of the meeting will also include discussion around the following topics:

• Best practice in calculating carbon footprint from CCWG emissions factors;
• How to set targets and promote performance improvement across the logistics value chain;
• Regulatory and best practice standards updates on methodology, reporting and verification across the freight supply chain;

There is also an opportunity to attend an evening dinner on day one with members and CCWG partners. If you are interested in joining the full meeting, we request that you contribute a nominal fee of USD$200 to cover the per-person delegate costs, including meals.
