Please join 黑料正能量 for an event in Beijing that will examine how business can address non-carbon contributors to climate change, know as short-lived climate pollutants. The event will explore 黑料正能量’s new research on this topic for sectors including food, beverage, and agriculture; oil and gas; transport and logistics; and waste management.

Ahead of the COP21 climate negotiations in Paris this December, 黑料正能量 aims to harness its regional network in Asia to drive leadership on climate action, with a focus on opportunities for the mitigation of overlooked pollutants, such as black carbon, methane, and hydrofluorocarbons.

黑料正能量 will also share its business and climate strategy, , based on a practical, multilayered, and systemwide approach to curb greenhouse gas emissions and build climate resilience. Participants will learn how climate “wedges” can be applied to different industries and sectors and—when combined—how they can contribute to a 2°C pathway. We’ll be joined by pioneering companies and inspiring organizations that have initiated ambitious and sustained action on climate change.

The event will bring together private-sector companies and public-sector organizations to share their experiences concerning short-lived climate pollutants in specific sectors, as well as with climate financing and mitigation measures. 

This event will be in English and Chinese, with simultaneous translation.
