Our Mission

To harness the power of business across sectors to prevent and reduce human trafficking, and support survivors.  

Our Strategy for Impact

GBCAT mobilizes the business community to work together to eliminate to prevent and reduce human trafficking and other forms of modern slavery across company operations and supply chains. We do this through:

• Convening leading companies across diverse industries and geographies to identify and share promising approaches that can be replicated;
• Building capacity of companies and their suppliers to better identify, eliminate, and remediate modern slavery risks; and
• Raising awareness about how companies can prevent re-exploitation and address root causes of trafficking by empowering and employing survivors and their families.

How we Work

GBCAT is composed of global businesses from across sectors committed to ending all forms of human trafficking. Our work is focused on the following three areas:

Corporate Supplier Capacity Building

• Building capacity among small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to prevent and eradicate modern slavery and participate in responsible global supply chains. .

Survivor Empowerment and Employment

• Enabling business to support survivors through access to job skills training and employment opportunities. .

Tech Against Trafficking

• Advancing and scaling the use of technology to prevent, disrupt and reduce human trafficking and increasing and expanding survivors’ access to resources. .
