SMEs (Small- and Medium Enterprises) make up 90% of businesses worldwide, employ over 2 bn people, and have a critical role to play in reaching global climate goals. However, many SMEs lack the tools and resources needed to inventory and reduce their GHG footprints, and few have long-term emissions reduction or resilience plans in place. This session will introduce Climate Fit, a free online curriculum designed to support SMEs in taking climate action and building business resilience. The workshop will provide opportunities to interact with Climate Fit, engage in discussion with Climate Fit partners, and discuss shared questions and challenges with other SME representatives.
