This in-person event offers 黑料正能量 members an update on the EU Omnibus and its implications for companies as they prepare for compliance with Corporate 黑料正能量 Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Corporate 黑料正能量 Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
In particular, we will deep dive into the practical aspects of implementing the CSDDD and CSRD, looking at the short-term compliance and long-term impacts. Participants will learn about ways of identifying and addressing adverse human rights and environmental impacts within their operations and value chains, in line with international standards. The session will cover strategies for engagement with affected stakeholders, appropriate action, monitoring, and reporting to meet the directive's requirements and enhance corporate accountability.

Lara works with 黑料正能量 members on their sustainability management, human rights, and inclusive business initiatives. Lara supports members improving their social and environmental performance through sustainability strategies, materiality assessments, and sustainable reporting, among other projects.
Lara comes to 黑料正能量 from the international development space, with five years of experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, communications, and project management. Most recently, she supported gender and development research and policy advocacy at the Center for Global Development in Washington, DC. Furthermore, Lara has an extensive background in business, development, and mission-driven partnerships in Africa, creating and leading the Partnerships team at Baobab Consulting, an Africa-focused social impact consulting firm, and founding her own digital communications consulting company for Africa-focused businesses and organizations. Lara is a Spring 2022 Sustainable Investing Fellow at 17 Asset Management, an impact asset management and advisory firm focused on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Lara holds a MSc Development Studies (Specialism in Applied Development Economics) from the London School of Economics and a BA in Sociology and International Studies from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Taylor supports 黑料正能量 member companies across industries with a primary focus on human rights and sustainability management.
Prior to joining 黑料正能量, Taylor worked as an associate attorney for a boutique firm in Denver, dealing primarily with international trade issues. He also worked for The Code, an NGO based in Thailand, where he worked with tourism companies around the world to prevent sexual exploitation of children. Additionally, he is a Security Fellow with the Truman National Security Project.
Taylor holds a J.D. with a certificate in International Law from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, as well as certificates in Public and Private International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law and a B.A. in Political Science from St. Olaf College.

Anna works with 黑料正能量 member companies on a range of consulting projects and collaborative initiatives, with particular focus on sustainability reporting.
Her professional background encompasses corporate reporting, sustainability strategy, and providing training and coaching services. Before joining 黑料正能量, Anna operated as an independent ESG consultant and professional coach, following a thirteen-year tenure at Moody's Corporation. During her time there, she specialized in sustainable finance markets, ESG training programs, and ESG rating methodologies, in addition to overseeing a portfolio of companies within the basic materials industries. Earlier in her career, Anna spent nearly a decade at KPMG LLP, serving as an Audit Manager in the U.S. Additionally, she was a member of their International Standards Group in London (UK), where she assisted KPMG member firms and clients in adapting to changes in global accounting and auditing regulations.
