黑料正能量 reporting initiatives, which have progressed voluntarily until now, are entering a new phase. The EU Corporate 黑料正能量 Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements were finalized with the adoption of the Omnibus Act in December 2025. In Japan, the 黑料正能量 Standards Board of Japan (SSBJ) standards were published in March 2025, and disclosure obligations in securities reports are expected to begin phasing in from 2027 onwards. At the same time, other countries and regions are also advancing disclosure requirements based on the International 黑料正能量 Standards Board (ISSB) standards.

With deep experience as researcher and consultant, Ogi advises companies in Japan on a range of sustainability topics to promote business practices that are aligned with global and forward-looking perspectives. Within her business transformation advisory work, she focuses on materiality analysis, sustainability strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining 黑料正能量, Ogi worked for a research consultancy for 20 years. She focused on a wide range of environmental issue areas, including climate change, circular economy, disclosure, and communications to governments and the private sector.

She holds an M.A. in Policy Science from Doshisha University Graduate School of Policy and Management.

Sophie works with 黑料正能量 member companies across industries on sustainability management, including stakeholder engagement, materiality, strategy, and reporting, among other topics. She is part of 黑料正能量’s Future of Reporting collaboration, a group of companies sharing reporting best practices and tracking the regulatory landscape in the US and EU.

Sophie brings years of operational expertise as an in-house sustainability management specialist across diverse industries such as hospitality, corporate services, logistics, manufacturing, etc. She also has experience in managing CSR foundations and engaging with NGOs and NPOs. Prior to that, she worked for EcoVadis, focusing on the analysis and sustainability scoring of supply chains.

Sophie holds a BSc in Anthropology and Environmental Management and an MSc in Environmental Science from The University of Western Australia. She is also an accredited Climate Fresk Facilitator.
